Approaching Climate Change for Water Resource Adaptation (ACCWA)
The ACCWA project evaluates the social, economic and environmental effects of climate change on water resources
in upper, middle and low income countries and impacts on global water governance. Through the development of new tools and interdisciplinary techniques, the project addresses the major issues that cut across natural, social and political science disciplines.
Funded by the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN), the project is coordinated by water@leeds, the University of Leeds’ water research centre.
The ACCWA project is pleased to announce that Water Quality 2012, the second international water conference, will take place in Hangzhou, China on 19-21 September 2012.
